Vertical Blue 2009

William Trubridge, him of Vertical Blue and 2 world records, is organizing a competition in Dean's Blue Hole in the Bahama's right now. Two world rcords have fallen already, Herbert Nitsch doing 114 Constant Weight and my little friend, Ma'am Sara Campbell, doing 96 in constant. Sara is aiming to be the first woman to do 100 in competition, and we believe she can do it, for she's the world's greatest (if smallest). Besides it being a world-class competition in what must be an ideal location for freediving and a real good warm-up for the organizers who are also doing the World Championship there, it has the benefit for us unlucky enough not to be there that Frederic Buyle is shooting pictures there, and the results are stunning:
