drifting
Shot with cellphone yesterday in Rotterdam, while waiting for the bus. Ever since seeing that scene in American Beauty, i was hoping to be able to shoot something like it. Missed the bus because of it.
Music is 'Spiegel im Spiegel', by Arvo Pärt.
"And this bag was just... dancing with me. Like a little kid begging me to play with it. For fifteen minutes. That's the day I realized that there was this entire life behind things, and this incredibly benevolent force that wanted me to know there was no reason to be afraid. Ever."
~ American Beauty, script by Alan Ball

I absolutely loved this. Though you're giving Sam Mendes mad props for his work in AB - it's still up there as one of the most moving things you've created - that I've seen anyway. Only thing (and this is highly unusual to desire anything other than your choice in this regard) is the title seems not to match the profundity of the piece.
What about 'plastic plight', or 'plundered plastic'- or forget the alliterations all together; ...'exile', 'drifter', or make up something...'counter-flight'. I don't know, but you see what I'm saying right? kinda?
anyway - it was beautiful to watch no matter what you call it.
Thank you for the suggestion, Lady Mac.
Made some alterations based on them.
